My work is driven by a commitment to truth, access, and representation. As a photojournalist covering the White House, Capitol Hill, and national politics, I strive to document power, policy, and the people affected by both. I aim to tell stories with depth, dignity, and context—amplifying voices that are often overlooked and capturing the human impact behind the headlines. Through visual storytelling, I seek to inform, challenge, and connect people across divides.
Demetrius is an active member of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA), the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), and Diversify.Photo.
