LISBON, PORTUGAL â June 1, 2023:
Risk Reduction Education Technician Antonia Cabrita, 25 and Social Assistant Mariana Gomes, 25 speak with a man regarding his needs during their daily routine route check in Lisbon, Portugal on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Antonia Cabrita and Mariana Gomes are part of the outreach team for the Crescer organization. Daily the team deliver supplies and assist drug users with the goal of reducing harm. The outreach team delivers water, a methadone cocktail, medication and supplies that includes: two syringes, drug paraphernalia, a condom, citric acid, distilled water and sanitation wipes.
