Kristal Grauman, 32 collect plastic bottles from the trash bin in Lincoln Park, Michigan on February 28, 2022. Kristal and David Ramsey Jr, 39 collect bottles to return for cash at the Meijer Bottle Return. âI donât like digging in the trash but it is 10 cent a bottleâ, said Kristal.
Davidâs father, David Ramsey Sr, passed away in January from a heart attack. Davidâs father died with a negative net worth passing down his debts to his son trapping him and his family in a cycle of poverty.
