Kristal Grauman, 32 and David Ramsey Jr, 39 make their way to the Meijer Bottle Return with a shopping cart full of plastic bottles in Lincoln Park, Michigan on February 28, 2022. Kristal and David Ramsey Jr, 39 collect plastic bottles to return for cash at the Meijer Bottle Return. âI think we will get around 10 dollarsâ, said Kristal. âI think maybe 5 dollarsâ, said David.
Davidâs father, David Ramsey Sr, passed away in January from a heart attack. Davidâs father died with a negative net worth passing down his debts to his son trapping him and his family in a cycle of poverty.
