David Ramsey Jr, 39 on the phone with his mother at his home in Lincoln Park, Michigan on February 27, 2022. âWe planned to go to the grocery store to get food but the money hasnât been loaded on the card. I got to figure out food for Mariahâ, said David.
Davidâs father, David Ramsey Sr, passed away in January from a heart attack. Davidâs father died with a negative net worth passing down his debts to his son trapping him and his family in a cycle of poverty.
